Suzie Olszewski is a retired senior high English teacher. Her love of reading sparked her interest in writing Freckles, her first children’s book. As a teacher, she has witnessed students overcoming setbacks and gaining new skills and confidence.

She hopes her books show children that everyday events and conversations can have monumental effects on their lives. “We all need positive influences.”

Besides reading and writing, Suzie loves spending time with family, running, traveling, and performing with her local musical theater organization.
